How NOT to Reduce Stress

There are many ways that you can reduce stress in your life. If you don’t take advantage of them, you will never be able to reduce the stress . If you do not seek outside help it will be very difficult to manage stress on your own. You might consider various activities from getting massages, to joining a sports team or taking a mini vacation with family or friends. Many people think of a massage as a frivolous activity but in reality it’s an easy and effective way to relax your body and reduce stress. After working all day, if you simply go home and sit on the couch, you will also be avoiding reducing stress. By taking part in a sport like basketball, bowling or soccer after work, not only will it take your mind of tension in your life, but also create new and happy moments with friends and teammates while exercising. Similarly, going for months on end without a vacation will only let the stress build up. A spontaneous mini-vacation with friends or family will give you the mental break you need to unwind while spending quality time with people you care about.
